L’Ost is a hostel for young people of all ages looking for a place to escape the chaos of day-to-day life, where the pace of life slows to a rural rhythm and mountain values are strong and deeply rooted.

At L’Ost our cosy, inviting rooms are either single or double, all with private bathroom and free Wi-Fi. Our communal areas: reading room, TV room, dining room, garden... perfect for relaxing, winding down or meeting new friends, are all free to use for our guests.

Families

Running, laughing and playing freely, kids getting their hands dirty... Families will find Grumes to be a peaceful and welcoming village, where children play in its square and alleyways, use their imagination to hone their manual dexterity while playing with woodland treasures, and discover animals and mountain life. A land for the whole family to discover, preferably on foot, with undemanding excursions and treks to ancient farmhouses (masi) or along the river to discover old trades and ancient water mills... or by getting involved in the countless events organised in the village.

Our Family rooms are cosy and inviting, bright and wood-furnished, all with private bathroom and balcony. They are ideal for all families, large or small, looking for peace, tranquillity and flexibility at attractive prices.

And that's not all... all families with children up to the age of 12 get a 20% discount on the total price of the room!

Lezioni di natura: eco-vacanza per le scuole

In Grumes we organise nature-oriented holidays and laboratories for schools and groups in collaboration with the Rete delle Riserve Alta Valle di Cembra-Avisio, aimed at unveiling the wonders of this nature-rich land, its protected nature reserves, lakes and peat bogs, as well as its stunning flora and fauna. A variety of excursion types are available depending on the teachers' requirements and the age of their pupils. All activities are conducted with qualified environmental instructors. The children are constantly stimulated to participate through practical activities which take place in the open air of the forest. Find out more

Groups

So many different ways for groups to spend great days together. Relaxing at the hostel, enjoying the various communal areas (reading room, TV room, dining room, garden...) or discovering our land with trips to mountain lodges and Alpine cottages, snowshoe trekking under the moonlight, exciting rides for mountain bikes and e-bikes, tasting experiences in the valley's wineries and distilleries... or a visit to Trento's captivating historical city centre, perhaps taking advantage of the many free admissions available with the Trentino Guest Card.

Our group rooms are spacious and include split bathroom (toilet and shower in separate rooms), free Wi-Fi and a large sun-kissed balcony with a view across the valley and up to the Lagorai peaks. They are perfect for groups of friends looking for a friendly place to stay at affordable prices.
